Role: Senior UX/UI Researcher
Scope: UX Research, UI Evaluation, Insights & Recommendations
Platform: Analytics Dashboard (Web)

I was responsible for UX/UI research and evaluation, focusing on how users understand, navigate, and trust the presented data.

My work included:

Reviewing key dashboard flows and interaction patterns

Evaluating information hierarchy, visual clarity, and cognitive load

Assessing data visualization effectiveness across different metrics

Identifying usability risks related to scale, density, and real-time updates

Benchmarking against established analytics and reporting tools

Insights were grounded in user mental models, readability, and decision-support needs rather than purely visual preferences.

Identified usability issues affecting data interpretation and task efficiency

Provided research-backed recommendations to improve clarity, hierarchy, and scanability

Informed UI decisions around layout, grouping, and visual emphasis

Supported the design team with actionable insights without prescribing visual solutions

This research helped ensure that the LiveYIELD dashboard:

Better supports rapid understanding of key performance metrics

Reduces cognitive load when working with real-time and historical data

Aligns more closely with user expectations for analytics tools

LiveYIELD is a data-driven analytics platform designed to help teams monitor revenue performance, user activity, and device-level metrics in real time. The project focused on making complex performance data easier to understand and act on through clear visual hierarchy and effective data presentation.

My contribution was focused on UX/UI research, evaluating how users interpret analytics dashboards, identify key metrics, and navigate dense data views. The work informed design decisions around clarity, scanability, and cognitive load in real-time reporting environments.

Problem:
LiveYIELD required a deeper understanding of how users interpret and interact with complex analytics dashboards, particularly around performance metrics, data density, and real-time insights. The challenge was to ensure that the interface supported fast comprehension and decision-making without overwhelming users.
